Privacy Policy

What Extractify Intel does with your data — and what it doesn't, because it never has any.

Effective September 20, 2026 Applies to Extractify Intel for iOS, version 1.0 and later
The short version: Extractify Intel collects nothing, sends nothing anywhere, and has no servers to send it to. Every check it runs happens on your device, using Apple's own frameworks, and stays there. Everything below is just the detailed version of that one sentence.
§1

Overview

Extractify Intel is a security checkup app for iPhone and iPad. It looks at your device's own settings and system state — things like your iOS version, passcode status, and system uptime — and turns them into a plain-English score and a list of things to fix.

There is no Extractify Intel server. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no analytics SDK bundled with the app. This policy exists because the App Store requires one, not because there's much to disclose.

§2

What Extractify Intel Looks At

To build your security score, Extractify Intel reads the following from your device, using standard iOS APIs available to any app:

None of this leaves your device. None of it is used to identify you.

§3

What We Collect

CategoryCollected?Notes
Personal information (name, email, etc.)NoneNever asked for
Usage analytics / telemetryNoneNo analytics SDK is included in the app
Crash reportsNoneNo crash-reporting SDK is included
Advertising identifiersNoneExtractify Intel shows no ads

Your self-reported answersStored on-device onlyNever transmitted — see §4
§4

Where Your Answers Live

When you confirm something Extractify Intel can't check on its own — for example, tapping "Yes, it's enabled" for Find My — that answer is saved using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage, sandboxed to the Extractify Intel app on your device.

That storage is not synced to iCloud or any Extractify Intel-operated service, because no such service exists. It may be included in a standard encrypted device backup you make yourself (via iCloud Backup or a computer), the same as any other app's local data — that's an iOS platform behavior, not something Extractify Intel adds.

Deleting the app deletes these answers. There's no account to close and no server-side copy to request, because nothing ever leaves your device.
§5

Third Parties

Extractify Intel does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect data to share. It embeds no third-party SDKs — no analytics, no advertising, no cloud sync, no crash reporting. The app makes no network requests at all.

§6

Permissions

Extractify Intel's Face ID usage description exists so it can ask iOS whether biometric authentication is enrolled — it never actually prompts you for Face ID or Touch ID, and never receives biometric data. No other iOS permission (camera, contacts, location, network) is requested.

§7

Children's Privacy

Extractify Intel does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 — it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone at all, of any age, because it has no mechanism to collect or transmit it.

§8

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes — for instance, if a future version of Extractify Intel adds an optional feature that does involve network access — the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated, and material changes will be described in that version's App Store release notes before you update.
